“Mmmm... Nice and filling, just like always~” Rhew rumbled as the long tail slid into his belly. 
“H-hey! This... I-! Y-you can just ask, you know? No need to catch me off guard...” Norman muttered though a light, happy purr was already reverberating from the cat as he snuggled in. 
Before Rhew could mash in again, though, he let out a surprised gasp as Norman’s tongue found, slipped between, and slid all the way up one fold of his belly. He felt his own cheeks warm then and let out a snort as his tail flicked side to side. 
“Careful you... I’m letting you spend the night, don’t get me to make you breakfast.” he rumbled, struggling to keep the smile from his voice. 
“Well, you put me here! Not my fault you’re so easy to mess with, but I’ll behave... don’t want to lose the best bed in the cabin after all,” he purred and snuggled in against the dragon’s body. 
“Well, now, that you’re settled, and my stomach isn’t growling, I have a little more writing to finish up. You okay resting your paws a while I do?” Rhew asked, rubbing over his friend’s form and helping support his belly as he picked him up off the desk and walked back to his chair, feeling the gentle sloshing with every step.
“What!? No, go straight to bed! No working on a full stomach, you’ll get cramps!” Norman started, then giggled, “Oh Please… when have I ever complained about anything while I’m down here? Take your time!… I had a long walk, though, so… sorry if I fall asleep in here once my heart settles down...”
“Okay, okay, you know I like to ask is all.” Rhew rumbled, settling himself on the chair and using his claws to mash and squish and help Norman settle onto his lap more comfortably. 
“Yeah, yeah, I know... Now finish up, so I don’t have to wake you up from in here. Unlike some people, I don’t forget meals… you owe me breakfast…” he replied with a yawn.
Rhew let out a small laugh and leaned heavily against his belly, resting atop his friend, who only seemed to intensify the purring coming from him. No matter, though, it felt nice to have something else hold him up for a bit. The dragon plucked his quill from the inkwell and adjusted his page. Then he set it to the page again, a claw idly rubbing over his friend as he set down his thoughts.
