This came to me as I found my love for all things goth (see my journal), and I TOLD YOU I would get a piece inspired by it up sooner or later. A bit of work with blood and symbols and such, so it might be a little out of the "general" category, though I don't think it's too bad to not show certain people. Don't like it? Don't look at it. That's what I always say.
The quote comes from Dante's Inferno. Anyone out there just looking for a good book to read when you're bored, that's a good one. The quote goes: "I am the way into the city of woe. I am the way to a forsaken people. I am the way into eternal sorrow. ...ABANDON ALL HOPE YE WHO ENTER HERE" That, ladies and gentlefurs, is what is apparently is written on the Gate to Hell. Fun, no?
Anyways, hope you like it. It took long enough to draw.
