This started as me making a joke on Mastodon about clown drones painting their facelessness on blank eggs and then I went and thought it would be a funny idea to actually draw. Was it? Reasonable people may disagree. I had a vague idea what to do in mind and then by luck ran across the cover to Plastic Man #11, from back in Spring of 1948, which featured Woozy Winks in a clown outfit easily adapted to my purposes. (See https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=19957 page 1.) It also features a parade-balloon Plastic-Man for those who'd like to see some vintage overinflated rubber humans.
Anyway, 'clown drone' is either a great idea or a terrible mistake and only time will tell.
