That's generally how I feel as well with my ocs.

To be perfectly honest there fellah, its something i fear myself. :3 some people take the kink in a far deeper way then others. and it can be... uncomfortable.

thus, i designed my own sona with a way to have a "get out of jail free" card, should it dive down that direction that i do not enjoy :3

Honestly, the kinda hypno thats enjoyable to me is... basicly mental bondage. you still feel and enjoy everything but theres none of them pesky inhibitions in the way telling ya to be scared or worried.

I’ve seen literal mental bondage that admittedly I was kind of into - basically the character was hypnotised to believe they were bound and gagged, when in reality they had nothing strapped to them at all, eg they believed they had a ball gag so their mouth was kept wide open. Kinda dug that!
But yeah, otherwise the only kind of hypnosis I like is the kind where the body is forced to do things while the mind is still completely aware of what’s happening from inside. That’s the only thing I’m worried out; once the mind gives out or the identity is erased, I nope outta there haha

we share the same issue with the kink :3 if you simply dabble in the more shallow end of the kink, its quite comfy! i refer to it as: Kaa style hypno. were you are compeled to obey such a lovely set of eyes or swirls, whilst still able to feel everything, heck, the feeling even enhanced since you cant think for yourself... the body so much more sensative to pleasures and feelings thanks to the trance.

Never a fan of identity death. To me, it'd be like being erased from existance. And that terrifies me.
Tend not to be a fan of hypnosis for similar reasons, though I am okay with it when you are still aware of who you really are. It'd just be a roleplay that you've settled into.

Yup yup. Very uncomfy to think about haha. Though like you say, I’m not opposed of the mind is still intact, so it’s more like a body control thing. That stuff’s good :3

I completely understand the fear. I myself struggle with the fear of losing control.

It's something a few hypnotists in the furry community take advantage of and lead down some toxic roads. It's important that it's something you want and should be treated with as much care and respect as any other aspect of the BDSM community. It's unfortunate you had such a poor experience with hypnosis. but it's very respectable that you have made a point to set a boundary for yourself.

I appreciate it! After the experiences I had with a few people regarding hypnosis and identity death which made me feel very violated, it was very good to know that the hypno community is very respectful and is like, 99% nothing like that, and I’ve made friends with a lot of hypno-focused people despite not being into it myself.

The other day I read this pretty cool TF-style comic and I was enjoying it even if there was some "mental influence" going on... but then they followed up with what I can best describe as "graphic identity death."
It honestly gave me a bit of a shock that's still lingering a tad bit.
