I wanna see your take on an "ironclad" fighter...

An ironclad fighter, as in...?

Would you mean an entire suit of full plate mail?

Sortof... an ironclad is a fighter who's specialized in the heaviest armor POSSIBLE. They're like walking fortresses, even going so far as to carry twin spiked shields rather than weapons. Their armor usually is a special design, made just for that one soldier, with overlapping and interlocking plates almost to the point you think you're looking at a machine, or a golem or something.

:snickers: Oooh, you should've seen this one drawing for a phalanx idea I had.

I'm going to redraw him someday soon, because I'm getting into my 'armor drives' where I want to draw nothing but armor.

I'll definately keep your idea in mind!

(giggles) I played an ironclad-style fighter in a Dungeons & Dragons game once... he was terrified of rust monsters, so he got a suit of superheavy plate armor made out of crystal.

Buahaha~ I bet you had horrible mobility but super-powerful defense. o.o

I love Phalanx units.
