This fun update reminded me of what I'd meant to ask on your original piece: with a setup like this, do you like to picture ghastly and salazzle basically tag-teaming control, or is she really just fully backseating this whole experience? They both seemed the type to be down for getting along, and this fun maw setup here seems like a great random interruption for ghastly to talk directly to others when they want. XD

Basically, you make for really fun scenarios that are too fun to overthink lol

Hmm.. i've actually thought about this and yeah, i think that'd be a really fun idea if the salazzle and the gastly winds up learning to share and switch control and stuff!:D
Like in my original comic the salazzle is lost and so i think the gastly would help her find her way and then they'd be friends or something

Especially if gastly's the sort to force these sorts of awkward situations to present themselves out of salazzle's body while salazzle's the one driving. Despite their willingness to share and switch control, gastly still can't help but be a very curious and active participant to their surroundings. If you aren't driving the eyes, then popping out of a hole to get a closer look in person just comes naturally.

It's a hilarious dynamic to me with a ton of potential. I'm always loving how many ideas your work inspires. Also the head glow sticking around is a really fancy look for salazzle <3

Yeah, that sounds like something a mischeavous ghost type do! I really like the idea. I'll probably do more sketches of these two with fun scenarios like that!:D

She might get a little tired of her jaw being wrenched open without a moment's notice when gastly wants to take a look. Sure she could snap it back shut, but dealing with it may beat out the embarrassment of having gastly force out the back-end alternative for a cramped and squishy peak around.

It's seriously cute to treat possession physically like this versus having the host always just be this easy entry/exit at any point of the body. Same for that punch in the original when ghastly pushes on in. Makes the back and forth that much enjoyable, and the consequences of the ghost's hasty actions matter more. Also thanks for letting me gab over your work as always pft <3

Salazzle's body basically turns into a game of very weird whack-a-mole at that point. Just keep shoving that orb back in before they make too big a scene.

On a sidenote, their demeanors in the last comic just gives me the impression that gastly enjoys the opportunity to look pretty and show off. He gets a cute girl to pilot around in and pose like you did here, while I imagine salazzle isn't *too* worked up over their fascination with her body. She just prefers to be the one driving more often than not.
