
‼️ PLEASE READ IF YOU PRE-ORDERED A SHIRT FROM ME LAS...
Hello everyone. This is a post in regards to the very long wait time on my last T-shirt preorders. So the company that I ordered these shirts from was awesomemerch. They’ve been great in the past and always communicated and delivered, but little did I know, because they didn’t tell me ANYTHING, they went fully bankrupt a few days after my order, which was in total 422 shirts. They’ve failed to reach out to anyone about this, I’m not the only one. The shirts I ordered were preorders, meaning you guys already paid for them. I sent 5+ emails, messages them multiple times on social medias, even tried calling them…nothing, until a few days ago I finally got an email back. I’ll attach a screenshot of the email I got back as well. They told me I never approved one of the proofs which I did (I have the proof email where I approved it over a month ago.) but I approved it again and they’re continuing production now. They said it will take 2-4 more weeks to produce the shirts 🙄 I’m very annoyed. So that’s approximately the amount of time it’ll take for the shirts to get to me before I can ship them. They’re also being shipped from the UK so the shipping time could add onto this. I never expected or planned for it to take this long, in the past it’s only taken 3-4 weeks to get everything out. My order status has said “pending shipment” for 4 weeks now so I’ve assumed and told everyone they’d be arriving soon. I had no idea this even happened until a mutual of mine just told me what this company has been doing. I’m really upset that I made people wait this long for something completely out of my control, and something I know people are excited for.
I really really trusted this company. Me and tons of artists and friends have been using them for years with no problems, and suddenly this happens and everyone is getting extremely late orders (or nothing at all) I’ve been told I’m extremely lucky to have gotten a confirmation email back. I’d never use a company that wasn’t trustworthy so this was completely unexpected and uncalled for.
This isn’t fair to anyone or YOU if you ordered a shirt, I feel extremely bad about it even though this situation was out of my control.
If you ordered a shirt you will be receiving it as soon as they get to me. I’m going to try to package everything in a few days when they DO get here since you’ve already been waiting so long. Again, they told me 2-4 weeks. I promise preorders will never happen like this again, this was just a matter of bad timing and horrible communication on Awesomemerch’s end. My preorders have never taken this long before and this will /never/ happen again. I never would have thought such a reputable company would be so uncommunicative.
I sincerely apologize for the wait. Especially because some of you messaged me not that long ago and got a different response and are probably expecting it sooner because that’s what I told you, but at the time I was unaware of the situation so I hope you understand. I feel extremely bad about this. I want to be as communicative about this as I can. If anyone would like a refund please let me know, or if you need me to do anything such as update your shipping address since it’s been a while, please dm me on Etsy with the name on your order and your new shipping address asap.
