The man woke to the triumphant shouts of an unknown voice, feeling a powerful electrical surge coursing through his body. He slowly sat up and tried to take in where he was, some sort of laboratory. He couldn't remember anything about himself or how his life had ended. With the help of the scientist who brought him back to life, he managed to recall that his name had been Adam, and that he'd been a German citizen, but that was about it. Confused and sorrowful, he received words of comfort and encouragement from the doctor who revived him, being informed that he'd been brought back not to simply prove it could be done, but so he could be a defender of mankind and help show that monsters aren't all bad. While not thrilled with the thought of being considered a monster, Adam wasn't displeased with the idea of being a hero of sorts either, and with practice, he found out he could harness the electricity in his body to use against enemies. After some training and refining his skills and acting as the doctor's bodyguard, the doctor brought news to Adam of a strange presence that had been detected near Greenland and a rise in monster attacks worldwide. Were they connected? The doctor sure thought so, and he wanted Adam to seek out a friend of his named Henry. Adam set out under the cover of night, ready to face whatever dangers might come his way, find this Henry fellow, and maybe regain some more lost memories from his life when he was a regular human.
