Nakajima was being dragged down the street by the arm as Aiane brings him back to the junk shop. He looks around slightly confused as she pulls out her DS.
”Why did you bring me back here Aiane-chan?”
“Just stop for a second. I hadn’t come you would have...”
She turns her DS on as she taps on the screen. A shelf retracts into the wall to reveal a hidden passage. A few different voices could be heard from inside. Nakajima pokes his head in as Aiane shoves him further in. The passage opens up into a boardroom of sorts with screens and holographic displays showing different parts of the city. The shopkeeper was in a chair with a display showing two other people around his age.
”Right. Looks like my operatives are here. I look forward to seeing you again.”
He hangs up before Aiane slaps him across the face.
”What where you thinking commander?! Koji-kun almost died to one of them!”
“Wait, they’re back?”
ROB jumps off his shoulder and goes over to Nakajima. It pulls him into the space and has him sit at the table. The shopkeeper sighs.
”I’m sorry that I didn’t tell you about any of this.”
”Is this what you meant by I was chosen?”
”Yes. You are the new Console Warrior of the Wii.”
Nakajima gets up.
”Wait, warrior?! I don’t know how to fight and I sure don’t want to be attacked again!”
”You unfortunately don’t have a choice. With them returning the city is in danger. We need your help.”
Aiane places her hand on his shoulder.
”Look. I know it’s a lot to take in but I adjusted. We’re kind of like those masked superheroes in the colored suits.”
”You mean Power Rangers?”
”Yes. Them.”
Nakajima sighs and shakes his head.
”Fighting monsters in the name of humanity. I hope you’re right about this Aiane-chan.”
The commander smiles as he gets up.
”I guess I should properly introduce myself. I am Sumatako Genogi, Warrior of the Famicom. Welcome to the team. Since you don't know how to fight I'll have another operative train you. Aiane, you two seem to be close so why don't you train him?"
She shivered at the mention of her name as she starts blushing.
"Co-commander! It's not like that! I don't have a crush on him, what gave you that idea? He's just an old friend and nothing more!"
Her body language was saying otherwise as she starts nervously laughing. Genogi nods before he turns back to Nakajima.
"I believe this will be beneficial for both of you. I hope you don't have too many belongings that you need to pack."
"Wait I'm moving in with Aiane?! Are you sure that would be alright I mean I had some feelings for her but this is just insane..."
A voice soon comes from the wii remote that he was holding. It sighs
"I don't think I'll ever understand you humans. You both clearly like each other."
"You stay out of this! It's your fault that I'm even in this mess to begin with!"
"It's not like I had much of a choice. It's your destiny to be my partner and become the strongest fighter in the world!"
"Do you really mean that?"
"No, of course not. You're honestly really weak and I'm slightly ashamed to call you my partner."
"What was that?!"
Aiane grabs the controller before things got worse.
"Enough you two! You need to get along or you'll never be able to transform!"
"Hmph! I refuse to be with a weakling like him!"
ROB shakes it's head as it returns to Genoji's shoulder and speaks up.
"Your body is almost perfectly compatible with your Wii's Revolution System."
Nakajima takes back the controller and looks at it.
"Revolution System?"
"It's a special drive within all consoles that allows the user to transform into a warrior but only those with high compatibility can use it. You two are truly bound by fate."
"I guess you have a point but living with Aiane..."
She seemed way too excited about living with him.
"Come on Koji-kun. It will be just like when we were younger. Besides you don't have much of a choice since your apartment was destroyed."
"Don't remind me..."
"Come on. I'll help you pack."
As they leave Genoji sighs and turns back to the screens.
"What have I done ROB? I potentially ruined a man's life..."
"With all due respect, you did what was right. The return of those monsters is a very bad sign. Who knows what they're planning."
"I know but I regret my choice."
He glances over at a picture frame that showed a younger version of himself with a boy holding a Virtual Boy.
"It's not the first time."
