Winterghasts have a number of weird quirks that pop up in their anatomy again and again across the species. Unthreatened by bacterial infection, their lung and minimal internals are sometimes exposed, and it's not uncommon to find polydactyly in their cloven hooves, ranging from two sections to six or seven in some cases. Their eyes, while always pupil-less and lacking sclera, can be a large variety of colors and sometimes have patterns within them. Perhaps most important to note is that they show many textures in both their fur and their body, from the bone of their face to the softness of their underbelly.
