arrowny18 was looking for people to draw some of their favorite inflation scenes, and having played a number of odd and unknown games back in the day; I went for Westwood's Young Merlin on SNES since I knew I'd be the only one who even thought of this game. It's a mostly puzzle and thinking oriented overhead style game with a bunch of magic items. One is the balloon that lets you float upward over things like broken ladders or out of water which I tried to capture similarily here.

I suppose you may find it empty or annoying, if still interesting, but I love everything about the game. It's slow walk pace is enough time to take in the scenery and listen to the panflutely music of the forest. Merlin himself is such a reserved character that just goes with the flow, never gets mad or speaks. It's got lots of dumb fun and style; such as a minecart that merlin rides on like a skateboard and has to navigate a maze with limited turning ability and no pausing! Overall feels like the sort of thing we'll probably never see again till at least the next ice age or two.

It even hosted a free t-shirt contest if you got all the hearts when you beat the game, which I wish I knew if it really panned out or that I could have won as a kid.
