This sketch is inspired by a WIP of mine entitled "Kayla in Philadelphia," which is a side story/follow-up to a WIP of  maxim24's entitled "Duncan in Philadelphia."

Here, they're reunited at the Bureau of Superheroes' Philadelphia office, and it's the first time they see each other since "When Duncan Met Kayla." Anyone who's read that story knows how it ended. Thus, Kayla wants to make sure the base has adequate EMP shielding.

Also, it's my first time drawing Dealanach in costume. The first time I drew him, he was in civvies. The second time, he...wasn't.

Also, for those having difficulty reading the dialogue:

Kayla: "So, you know how strong the EMP shielding is here?"
Dealanach: "Diz it pure matter?" Translation: Does it really matter?
