The larger font version definitely looks better. Would there be any way to extend the trees on the right closer to Fender though?
I like the decision to keep it blank directly behind him, it keep the image from being too busy at that point, but having a patch of nothing but gray looks a little odd.
Even if you could just add a couple more, then make them fade out as they get close, I think that would help a lot.
