That little story I promised~ plus what the twins normally look like when "working" in various Okiyas.... From here I plan to get artwork of then with Santo because evil attracts evil or something? Trying to do a whole JoJo thing where stand users attract stand users, but instead it's these cute but deadly demon twins and Santo~
There was a legend among the geisha about two sisters, told to me by the old mistress of an okiya, a guest of which I had the privilege of being a guest.
The masterminds among the other geisha, they stood out not only for their skills, but also for their unprecedented beauty. Similar in appearance as two peas in a pod, and complete opposites in character. Manryu was as calm as ice, and Yuki was as passionate and emotional as fire.
But they were not ordinary girls. According to the old woman's story, one of the maiko peeped at them in the baths out of curiosity and found out that the sisters were Nekomata, demons. Yuki spotted the maiko when she ran off to an older geisha, but no one believed her. The twins were the most popular geisha of that okiya, and no one took Mayko's words seriously.
The next morning Maiko was found dead in her room, with terror frozen on her face, and the sisters had vanished without a trace, as if they had never existed.
Recently I was walking through the streets of Kyoto, and on my way I met two beautiful geisha who looked like two peas in a pod. I looked behind them, and it seemed to me that one of them had two tails coming out of her kimono. They noticed my gaze.
I'm scared to sleep, I think I hear footsteps in the hallway.
