To think it would take years for Sonic to finally confess, Amy didn't let him wait. With the help of all of their friends, the two best friends were married within the month. Of course, Eggman spoiled the day but with a kiss atop the newly destroyed robot, the wedding was considered a smashing success. Sonic earned a hammer slap for that one, but Amy was in love with the blue speedster, all of him, with every little quirk and pun.
With the threat of the new bride and a monumental hammering by an actual hammer. Eggman relented, allowing the couple to enjoy their honeymoon in relative peace... with the smallest of incursions by an egg-pawn here and there. Still, given the almost unending adventure that usually took place in their lives, it was a welcome respite.
Now, almost nine months later, life could not be more perfect. Oh, sure Eggman was still around. The villain, robot, and monsters of the week still happened of course, but then, what was life without a bit of adventure?
