Memes are like the punch-line to a joke that wasn't particularly funny the first time you heard it. When used in context or in a new way, they can be relevant and amusing, however spouting them willy-nilly and with no real relation to the topic at hand make you seem like an unfunny parrot incapable of forming coherent conversations. Only some people like parrots.
That said, if I troll you in this submissions' comments by copying and pasting memes, I may be doing it IRONICALLY which, according to some, redeems the meme and makes is awesome again ;D

I sorta skimmed the books a long time ago and made sure I watched the film with low expectations. Good way to stop myself from feeling let down. The graphics were nice, the characters were fairly well developed, however the plot pacing was awkward and to me just didn't work. The story was aimed at kids and young adults so you can't expect a masterpiece though :} Fun for what it is.
I read some of the books as a kid, and want to get my hands on the rest so I can finally finish it. It's actually a kinda cute story. There's some issues with the owl biology, but nothing overly glaring.
The animation looked adorable. But I just couldn't take it X.X From the opening it looked like they had already messed up the story.
