As Taylor grew older into adulthood and became a parent, she was surrounded by loving friends and family (and lovers). This helped boost her self-esteem about her body and her looks and most importantly, about being born with a tailmaw. Having people who loved and accepted her did wonders for her self-image and she began to embrace her new role in the emerging climate after the war. She was more bold with her advances and appeals to attention. Something that Jake Thumping heartily encouraged! At this point, there's a certain 'look' she gives him now when he knows something is about to occur within the next half-hour that would take them both out of the public eye for a time!

Also, can we just point out how soft this art-piece looks? This artist is very clean and I love it! Look- even Ahya's saliva looks clean!
Makes me wonder how Taylor deals with dental hygiene between them two. I mean- Ahya's saliva is acidic, as we know, but one has to wonder how exactly they both deal with cavities in-case some bug manages to slip by!
If anyone wanted to start a business for Tailmaw Dental Care, maybe now is the time. Except- gotta watch out for the chompers. D:

You read my mind. I actually do address this in a later book (that hasn't been written yet), but for the moment, they each brush their own teeth separately. I even have a commission about that. Ahya's tongue can twist and tighten around a toothbrush hard enough that she can grip and brush her own teeth provided Taylor applies some toothpaste to it. Both girls are doing their best for hygiene! :D
