The royal House of Gopal was slain nigh to the last man when the House of Rana initiated their bloody coup and seized the throne. From the king to the lowliest of retainers, none were spared by the wicked ploy. All except one. Princess Sachi was saved by the few royal guards who survived, and smuggled safely out of the kingdom. The last known rightful heir to the throne, her survival was paramount if the Gopal dynasty was to ever restore rule to the throne one day. In order to ensure her survival, the guards had the young princess put into cryostasis and hidden in a secluded sanctuary. Safely hidden away, she would sleep peacefully during the violent civil war that was engulfing her kingdom and awaken once the danger had passed to restore order.
Year after year went by, and the conflict rages on. Rana assassins still scour the world to seek out and finish the job they started. Yet Princess Sachi remains hidden within her secluded haven under the ever watchful vigil of her sworn protectors. Within this cavernous grotto, she remains bound to an ageless icy slumber, surrounded by the most idyllic patches of nature carefully placed by her retainers. The gentle waterfalls and the chatter of small wildlife have kept the frozen princess company during her seclusion, as though she were part of this hidden garden herself.
But unknown even to Sachi herself was that a great power was growing within the sleeping princess. For on the day the Ranas drew their blades and spilled the blood of her father, Sachi's body had become host to a relic of great power known as the Sunstone. Though it too had lain dormant along with its host, the stone in her body has recently begun emitting a very low emission, as though calling for something to find it...
