Sometime last year I found myself fascinated by gladiators and I took a bit of a dive down a historical rabbithole. I learned about the different disciplines of gladiators and one class in particular caught my attention and reminded me of my character Jonah’s fighting style. Cestus fighters wore these leather gauntlets that sometimes were covered in metal studs. Using them from what I remember they’d fight not too differently from modern boxers. At the time I was also trying to get used to a procreate update and while I’m not completely satisfied with this, it was nice to revisit gladiators with my lycan.
