Climate Disaster Collage Project
For my 2D Design class this week we were told to craft a surrealism collage with a theme of our choosing, taking inspiration from Salvador Dali and other great artists from history. I take no credit for the artwork and images used to create this piece (made from newspapers, magazines, and various leaflets); the composition and craftsmanship is all mine. I wanted to highlight the destruction our species is causing to the natural world around us through animal agriculture, and overall I'm extremely pleased with the results. Made using rubber glue, a rubber glue eraser, and scissors, I'll also be mounting this to black posterboard for my presentation next Thursday. We'll also be coming back to it in a future project!
