I made this for 
holydrake Holydrake's birthday! He made so many awesome comments on my artworks that I had to do something for him!
Since he's a paladin of the light I enjoyed the idea the idea of picture him in the moment of his knighting. I've searched all around the web for informations about knights, knighting and similar stuff. I found many version of the knighting ceremony but I focused on this version, which I liked the most:
the young boy in the process of becoming a knoght was brought before the lord of the castle, after a purification bath and one day of fasting. He was required to wear a white tunic, symbol of purity, with an upper dress of black color, wich meant his defiance of death and a red cloack, in symbol of the blood he would have poured in defense of his country.
As always forgive my grammar mistakes: I hope you will understand it!

Oh thanks my friend, the draw is amazing, and I didnt expected this, was a surprise for me, is the best gift that I have received in years, and this put me more happy because few people remember my birthday.
