Matilda is a mouse, a witch and an apprentice. She is under the teachings of her mother Sabrina to become a witch doctor, this occurred when she started displaying signs that she was capable of controlling magic; the energy of the universe. Her father, a medical doctor by the name Eric Nelson, specializes in bio-mechanical cybernetic prosthetics, he created her left arm after a terrible magical accident took it from her. Using both his science and Sabrina’s magic, they were
able to give Matilda a somewhat normal life again, the arm using her magic to power as well as stabilize it.
