It's been a while since i've posted anything (oops) but heres a lady with some cool cloth stuff going on. I've been fiddling with my brushes and trying to get more confidence with my lines, still got a ways to go however. I've been looking at some older furry art lately, it's pretty interesting seeing those older styles. Makes me want to practice my traditional stuff, as i dont have much of a history with it outside of some old studies. Id like to get a handle on using ink, i think the variation in lines you can get with it on physical paper are really interesting. It'd be nice to spend some time away from the computer too - my dad always told me id get square eyes looking at a screen all day, but i think its just made vision worse instead.
Id rather have weird square eyes

Thats not a bad idea, actually! I've never really participated in inktober before, it'd be nice to do something like that. As for my eyes, they could certainly use the break. Love your latest drawing, by the way, the way you did the parts of them that are underwater is really clever, its a nice effect. And your colours are as vibrant as ever, i really like them
Thanks! TBH I was purely guessing on how the water distortion effect was supposed to look, but making things look convincing is more important than being scientifically accurate ;'D
Regarding inktober drawings: I do think it's a good drawing exercise, although personally I've never managed to finish 31 days' worth of drawings! In fact the first year I tried it, I only did like 7 of them, lol. So unless you especially want to do the whole gamut of inktober drawings, my advice would be just keep it casual and do however many you feel like doing without stressing about it :") And there's also the official list of prompts for each day, if you get stumped for ideas~
