It's a Spotted Hyena. There's a huge difference between them and African Wild Dogs.

Very nicely done. Great expression, wonderful job with the folds of the clothing, background and lighting give a nice warm glow, and I definitely like some variety, seeing more realistic depictions of the body.

Wonderful character study! Really good textures and details. And you've managed to get her personality through, as well. I feel scrutinized and wheiged on a scales when meeting her gaze. Only negative thing I can think of are the pillows. The colours come through as a bit too bright in that kind of light (lamps in the cieling?), and the textures look half melted.

There is a distinct impression I'm getting that she would smother you under a pillow and feed your carcass to the local wildlife in a heartbeat if she felt it would give her any sort of benefit or advantage.

I don't know where you are going with this character, but on the off chance that I'm not too far off the mark then kudos on conveying so much information with nothing but a pose and facial expressions.

This is a pretty hyena for sure! And yes, hyena females rock and can be very dom!
Just a little thing though: the form of the face looks a bit too wolfish - hyena faces are rounder. A bit the same for the eyes: they look a bit too wolfish to me. Same for the upper lips.
