RWBY Dreams Reborn Volume V / Episode 5
Episode 5: “Grudges, Pt.2”
(The scene cuts back to Fukushima explaining about Arvaros)
Fukushima: Arvaros, the tyrant, the mad king or whatever he was called, he was the mastermind form his conquest of Remnant. He lead his legion of Umbra Beast across all the kingdoms and devastating everything in their path in the sake of peace.
Raiden: Peace? But base on how you put it, you make it sound like he is evil.
Fukushima: It’s true. It makes it feel like he is evil, but he is doing something right, but in the wrong way.
Ruby: What do you mean?
Fukushima: Arvaros only wanted is peace. He has spent a lot of his lifetime dedicated in preserving the peace. He lead some crusade to does who would disrupt the peace, but due to our actions as human he feels like that we will never change; that we will forever be in eternal conflict because of our instincts to survive. Soo… with the circumstances presented to him he had only one option. (takes a sip from his drink) And that… is to rule Remnant with an iron fist in order to force us peace.
Jaune: Wow. I can’t believe that actually happened.
Fukushima: Not really.
Jaune: Huh? But didn’t you just—
Fukushima: Relax, I was just trolling you. (Jaune feels relieved) The things that happen in the past were true, but the stuff surrounding Arvaros is a complete mystery. But the truth is this, we cannot allow him to escape his pocket dimension and we need to make sure the weapons are safe.
Ren: (confused) Weapon?
Fukushima: Allow me to clarify. The weapon where imbued with divine light by a being known as The Great Wizard. With his magic he imbued the weapon that would allow the guardians to slay the Umbra Beast and Arvaros himself. To put it simply, the weapon can harm beings that their pure evil and the mere touch would burn them if they ever obtain these weapons. The Guardians couldn’t defeat him with the weapons alone. So with their combine strength and with the assistance of the Maiden’s, they were able to seal him away into a pocket dimension in which he can’t escape. While he remains prisoned, the weapons are now tethered to him; like chains holding a beast down. As long as the weapons are tethered to him, he can’t return to Remnant nor can he use his powers. Imagine the weapons as “keys”, devices that keeps the chains locked and preventing him from returning.
Miller: I see. While his remained chained he can’t leave that dimension nor can he uses his abilities. But if one of them gets destroyed—
Raiden: The he slowly regain his strength.
Fukushima: Exactly. If all of the weapons are destroyed… then… it is all over.
Jaune: Umm… over? What do you mean it’s over?
Fukushima: That it means that all is lost. Arvaros returns and with his legion… nothing would stop him. (Jaune’s face looks pale) Relax, Jaune. I was joking.
Jaune: Ack! Stop trolling me like that!
Fukushima: Sorry, couldn’t help myself. But I’m serious about securing the weapons. We need to make sure they don’t fall in the hands of Arvaros’ followers.
Blaze: (offscreen) Sorry if I interrupt. (Fukushima looks at Blaze) I know this is all too serious, but… how all of this involves me, well besides me destroying the sword in Vale.
Olinda: (gets upset) Why would we care about you? You just merely—
Fukushima: (looks at Olinda) Olinda! (she gets upset by this and sits back down with her arms cross) (he looks back to Blaze) Well besides you now setting the events in motion for Arvaros’ followers to act. You have a purpose in this world. (Blaze ignites his hand and looks at it before extinguish it with Fukushima states the following) Your ability of casting magic wasn’t some random chance. You were inherited by your ancestors who at the time cast magic, the same magic that the Maidens have.
Blaze: (fakes that he believes it) Really?
Fukushima: Indeed. Your ancestors have protected Remnant in the past, but they were hunted down and murdered by does that feared them. But their bloodline survived and you the last of their kind to walk Remnant. I know that what you did back in Beacon was wrong, but now is the time for you to act and defend Remnant from Salem and Arvaros. So I ask of you, would you lean us a hand?
(As he offers his hand to him, Blaze looks on. Tim looks on as his face tells that he knows this before, but doesn’t recall how. As everyone awaits his response, Blaze just simply)
Blaze: You must be joking, aren’t you?
Fukushima: What?
Blaze: You really think that I’m a hero, that I’m some decedent of some people that fought in the past to protect us? I’m sorry, but you are completely mistaken. I’m a boy who lived in Haven Town, who which lost all that he cared and loved due to the corrupt government we all follow and obey blindly. They never treated us as civilians—no they treated us as expendables for simply to cover their tracks.
Fukushima: I understand but—
Blaze: But the real threat that we have right now is the very council that rules Remnant and I won’t allow them to ruin more lives just for them to have their hands clean. I’m no hero, nor am I a villain. I’m just a simple soul who want’s what’s best for Remnant.
Olinda: What’s best? (stands from her seat) What’s best!
Fukushima: (looks back to Olinda) Olinda, no!
Olinda: I’m so so sorry, mister. But I can’t take it no longer! (looks at Blaze) You think that you know what’s best for Remnant? Hmph! I think that you truly don’t care about the well beings of every living soul in this world.
Blaze: (Antagonizes her) Your point?
Olinda: My point? MY POINT! My point is that you are nothing but a cold blooded murderer. You only cared about yourself and you scum criminals you call allies!
Axel: (feels offended) Hey!
(But Blaze raises his hand and stops him. Axel calms himself down and returns to his side)
Blaze: I see that you are angry at me, that you detest me, and that you hate me with a passion. But nothing that you will say would tick me off. I did some questionable thing back then, but it was only to a means to an end.
Olinda: A means to an end!
Blaze: I wanted to expose the corruption our government has hidden from us, to show them the false promises that they never given us. I didn’t want to kill anyone; I didn’t want anyone to get hurt.
Olinda: Even after you have killed my beloved Leo!
(With that said, this provoked Blaze in some way. When he looked at her and after he blinked his eyes, instead of Olinda, he sees the dead Leo once again; still haunting him in his mind. However, this didn’t mad him spooked back. Instead, he calm’s himself down, closes his eyes, looks back to her and it’s no longer Leo, but Olinda looking down on him)
Blaze: I’m fully aware of what I did to him, but I was blinded by my revenge. Both of us wanted the same thing, but our motives where different. I even offered him a choice for him to either leave or stay.
Olinda: You’re lying!
Blaze: (he keeps going) I tried to push him and the other girl away, to tell them that they had a life worth living and that they shouldn’t waste it in facing us.
Olinda: Shut up, you’re lying!
Blaze: But they decide to stay and fight, knowing that they were right about my action’s, but my revenge consumed me, and had no choice but to end his life.
(Olinda has enough and lifts him of the chair by his clothing. This causes Fukushima and Falco to be on the alert if Olinda does something that she would regret)
Olinda: SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! I DON’T BELIEV YOU! AND I WILL NEVER BELIEVE IN YOUR LIES! YOUR ARE AMENACE, YOU ARE A MONSTER AND BECAUSE OF YOU… *sob* *sob* I WILL NEVER SEE LEO AGAIN!
(Everyone looks on as they started to feel bad for Olinda’s loss. However, Raiden is slowly starting to get frustrated again due to his emotional state)
Olinda: LEO WILL NEVER COME BACK *sniff* *sob* (looks at Blaze with hate) BUT I CAN END THIS BY KILLING YOU!
Blaze: (calmed) And you believe by killing me… would bring him back?
Olinda: YES!
Blaze: Then… I’m truly sorry for you; if it make any sense to you?
Olinda: WHAT!? WHY YOU—
Raiden: (stand up in anger) Olinda, that’s enough!
Olinda: (turns and looks at Raiden) But Raiden—
Raiden: I SAID THAT ENOUGH!!!
(Everyone outside the house hear that before the scene transition back inside of the house. Olinda still being upset and angry, let’s go of Blaze and walks away; giving Raiden a shoulder check as she goes)
Blaze: Well… that was something. If you didn’t stop her then—
(Looks back at Blaze with anger in his eyes)
Raiden: Don’t miss understand the situation.
Blaze: (confused) Huh?
Raiden: (begins his slow approach) Fighting amongst ourselves won’t help us in stopping Arvaros and Salem. However, your deeds in Beacon cannot be forgiven. So many of our friends were hurts and murdered all because you want to make a point. Everything that you do will only bring harm and death to all. I don’t care about your backstory, I don’t care that you intensions are good and especially I don’t care if you want to make a difference in this world. (he stops right at Blaze’s face) The things you did and the things you done can never be undone. There for, I… will never forgive you.
(Everyone where shocked at Raiden’s attitude towards Blaze. And with a simple sigh Blaze says)
Blaze: *sigh* Then coming here was a waste of time. (looks at Fukushima) Thank you for all the information you lay upon us, mister. But it’s time for me to take my leave. (looks back to Axel) Come Axel.
(With that, Blaze grabs his coat and he and Axel start leaving the house. As they are at the door, Jaune stops them as he calls them out with sword in hand)
Jaune: Hold on just a second. You guys aren’t going anywhere.
Miller: Yeah. You guys are fugitives of the law. Do you honestly think that where just going to let you leave like that?
Blaze: (looks back) Don’t even bother trying to. You’ll be wasting your time.
Ursa: Wasting our time? Wasting our time?! Look mister, I may agree in some cases with Olinda, but you have done so many things that can’t be ignored.
(As she continues to rant, Blaze’s sighs as they don’t know what he is referring to. Instead of explaining to them why, he takes action that would shock them)
Blaze: (tells to Axel) Hold my coat.
(Blaze gives his coat to Axel as he walks towards the group. Axel looks on in confusion to why Blaze requested to hold hid coat. In that moment, Blaze approaches Jaune as Miller warns him, but little too late. Jaune turns and looks at Blaze. He grabs Jaune’s arm (the arm that has him holding his sword) and he use it to thrust his sword into his chest, straight at his heart)
(Everyone was shock that Blaze allows himself to do that; even Axel and the apparition of Tim as they look on in horror. But things are about to get even shocker when Blaze says)
Blaze: Now you see what I mean? (Jaune looks even more shock to see Blaze still taking while his sword is in his chest) You be wasting your time in stopping me. And if you even try to kill me for avenging does who were lost? Then let me tell you this.
(As he talks he proceeds to slowly pull out Jaune’s sword while still in his hands)
Blaze: I… can’t… die.
(He pulls out the sword, causing Jaune to step back in shock of this new revelation. Everyone looks on in complete shock, except for Fukushima, Axel and Tim, as their well aware of his somewhat immortality)
Blaze: You heard me, I can’t die. Even if you chop me in haft, burn me alive or any methods of killing me… I can never die. So your efforts would be pointless.
(With that he proceeds to leave and opening the door. As he does Jaune asked him)
Jaune: You… (Blaze turns to look at him) What even are you?
(Blaze dosen’t answer before he tells him simply)
Blaze: I’m just a simply boy who wants to make Remnant a better place to live. (looks ahead) Without the corruption.
(And with that, Blaze and Axel left the building, leaving everyone with what they just witness. Cutting back to them, they are seen walking down the streets of Mistral; discussing on the current situation)
Axel: Well… that’s a bust. We were so close to get even more information until they force you to leave the house.
Blaze: (corrects him) Not forced, I just wanted avoid it to prevent any further escalation.
Axel: True. That girl really wanted you dead for sure. At least it didn’t escalate too much that would draw attention. (he bring up Blaze actions of stabbing himself) But dude, do you think that was necessary?
Blaze: What do you mean?
Axel: You know what I mean, the moment you stab yourself into your heart. What is that necessary?
Blaze: Oh that. They left me with no choice. Either they know about it sooner or later, but I had to make a point to them so hopefully they won’t bother us.
Axel: Well… I see your point. (returns back to the subject) So, what now? That was our only lead.
Blaze: True, but this isn’t a dead end for us.
Axel: Wait… are you suggesting?
Blaze: Yes. Tell the others that will be heading to Haven Academy tomorrow to talk to the Headmaster. (Axel looks at him for a moment, before he nods and pulls out his scroll) Let’s hope that he is reasonable than they were.
(The scene cuts back to Frost and Edgar as his father finishes explaining the reason he didn’t returned)
Frost: So now you understand the reason why I didn’t came back? I had to stay behind in order to uncover the mysteries that Remnant had withheld from us. Maybe if I succeed, then—
Edgar: You be able to provide this information with everyone. But then again, their a high chance that others would exploit this and attempt to cause chaos.
Frost: Exactly. The biggest question is that: Why would anyone or someone would hide this? What would they hope to gain by leaving us in the dark?
Edgar: (puts things together) May be they want to hide it from everyone, because it would benefit them instead of us. Because they might know what’s really going on while they leave us clueless to the truth.
Frost: Hmm… you may have a point there. I was wondering that question myself, but never went into too much thought about it. But you might be up to something with that.
Edgar: Really?
Frost: Truly. You might have come up of a theory that could solve this mystery.
Edgar: Hmmm… (looks ahead) I see.
(Frost sees that his son still worries for him after their conversation. So he reassures him that)
Frost: Son, I may not be there when the thieves wanted you dead, I may not be there when the fall of beacon happened. But one thing remains truth and that is… I always was watching over you from afar. And some case I came to your friend’s aid.
Edgar: Wait… (looks back to his father) You mean?
(As Edgar talks the scene shows a flashback to when he and Raven saved Sebastian and Yang from Neo and Nox)
Edgar: You where there when you saved my friends?
(The scene returns to the present)
Frost: Indeed. I came with Raven to assister in something that she didn’t tell me about. But when we teleported to the train and saw does two preparing to harm your friends, I knew that I have to act. So yeah, I saved your friends from certain death, but I wasn’t able to save them during the fallout of Beacon.
Edgar: I see. (As he talks about it he began to recall Weiss again) Oh yeah.
Frost: What is it?
Edgar: (looks at his father) The last thing I remembered before waking up is that I created a dome to sheared the impact from me and Weiss. Where is she? Is she all right? I hope nothing bad happen to her.
Frost: Weiss is alright. She didn’t received mayor wounds from the impact, but she is safe.
Edgar: I need to see her, I want to make sure that she is ok.
Frost: (feels awkward) Oh, umm… Well you see.
Edgar: What?
Frost: I don’t think it’s such a good idea to see her right now.
Edgar: What do you mean by that? Why can’t I see her?
Frost: (scratches the back of his head) Well son, you see—(he sees his son’s face as he make a puppy doll eyes) (Seeing that avoiding the subject won’t help he decides to take her to Weiss, while glad in his face) Alright, I’ll take you to her.
Edgar: Really? That’s great—(when he jump while seated in his bed he feel the pain from his injuries) Ack! Oww…
(Frost smiles)
Frost: (calls to Jolt) Jolt.
Jolt: (peeps through the tent) Yes?
Frost: Bring me some cloths for my son. I’m taking him to see Weiss.
Jolt: Understood, sir.
(As he leaves to get some clothes, Frost looks back on his son to see him rubbing where he was injured. Frost smiles at his son. The scene changes to them walking across the camp in direction towards Weiss location. The scene shows Edgar wearing a kimono as he walks beside his father)
Edgar: (asked his father) Are we close, dad?
Frost: It won’t be long now, my son. Once you see her, you will finally understand the situation she is in.
Edgar: Situation? What are you talking about?
Jolt: (he responds to his questions) He’s referring to the predicament the Schnee is in. We found her along with you in the crash site so we brought you into our camp.
Edgar: I see. (look around and sees a lot of bandits) It seems there are a lot of bandits here. But I hope she is ok. I would Imagine that she is in a camp and being attended with great care.
Jolt: Who said that we’re keeping her in a tent?
Edgar: Excuse me?
(Before long they arrive to where Weiss is, but Edgar is shock to discover that she is in a cage with her wrist bound by ropes)
Edgar: Weiss!
Weiss: (looks to her right and sees Edgar) Edgar!
Edgar: (he arrives and falls to his knees to be on the same level as her) Weiss, Weiss! I’m glad you’re ok.
Weiss: (feels relieved that Edgar is alright) I’m glad to see you two, but… what’s with the outfit?
Edgar: Oh this? They gave me this, because mine are being attended while I was recovering from my injuries. (he remembers that Weiss never met his father) Oh yeah I forgot.
(He stand up and introduces Weiss to his father)
Edgar: Weiss, this is my father, Frost Damiano.
Frost: (bows to her in respect) It’s a pleasure to meet you in person, m’lady.
Weiss: Oh… um… it’s a pleasure to meet you as well. Strange, everyone back in Atlas through that you were murdered?
Edgar: Yeah, a lot of them thought the same thing, but he’s alive thanks to—
(He stops talking as he realizes he was sidetracked because of reuniting with her. He turns and demands Weiss release)
Edgar: I demand that she is release from this cage, now. (he looks at Jolt, but dosen’t respond) (he the looks at his father) Dad, please tell him to release her.
(However, his father doesn’t respond as he looks away)
Edgar: Dad?
Jolt: Sorry, kid. (Edgar looks at him as he puts his hands onto his pockets) But… I’m not allow to do it. We’re under orders to keep her locked up until the ransom is paid.
Edgar: Ransom? She is no one to be use for a ransom!
Jolt: Sorry, but orders are orders.
Edgar: On who’s orders?
Raven: (offscreen) On my orders.
(Edgar turns to see Raven, leader of her camp, approaching the group alongside Vernal. Jolt sees Vernal and stands at attention in her presence. The other bandits at attention in the presence of their leader)
Edgar: What do you mean it on your orders? She is not something to be kept hostage.
Raven: Your concerns are not my concerns. Having a Schnee like her would fetch us a good price.
Edgar: I’m telling she is not—
Frost: (he calms his son down) Easy, son.
Raven: You should keep your son on a leash. (Frost looks at her) He can cause trouble if he is running around. You should have raised him better to be obedient.
Frost: Like you in how you abandon your family and not being there for your daughter?
(Everyone where speechless from Frost’s insult, knowing of him learning about Raven’s family from her. Feeling insulted she brushes off)
Raven: sigh* I’ll pretend that I didn’t hear that. But you better keep it to yourself next time.
Frost: But you know that I’m right, Raven. You expect me to control my son more, but I can’t be that heartless on him. I dedicated myself to raise him the best I can and to train him for the day he had to protect a Schnee member; in how our ancestors did. We been doing this for many generations and I’m not going to lead my son astray.
Raven: (crosses her arms) So what’s your point?
Frost: My point is that I’m loyal to the Schnee family, that my son is doing the right thing in keeping her safe, and that I won’t betray the Schnee’s in an act such as this.
(Everyone remains quiet as Raven bonders for a moment. Edgar and Weiss looks on while Frost look at Raven with determination)
Raven: Hmmm… (opens her eyes and looks at Frost) So what do you have in mind?
(Frost thinks for a moment and declares the following)
Frost: I’ll pay the ransom.
(Everyone was shock from Frost’s statement)
Jolt: Umm, sir. I don’t think that is—
Vernal: Jolt!?
(He hears her and he is put back in line. Raven looks at him with suspicions)
Raven: What are you saying? Are you doing this for her?
Frost: I’m not doing this for her. (looks at his son) I’m doing this for him. (his son smiles as his father is doing the right thing) I’ll pay you the ransom and my son can have Weiss back. (looks back at Raven) And everyone is happy.
Raven: Hmm… one question. What do you hope to gain from this?
Frost: Nothing. As the royal paladin to Willow Schnee, (looks back to Weiss) the mother of Weiss Schnee, (Weiss gets surprised to hear that he is working for her mother, before Frost looks back at Raven) I would never betray her allegiants, nor would I compromise our alliance (referring to Raven). There are a lot of things that we haven’t uncovered regarding “her” and the mystery regarding Remnant itself. (Weiss and Edgar get confused regarding who is “her that he is referring) But, I would never betray the Schnee’s. I would rather die instead of selling them out for your profits. Soo… (crosses his arms) What’s going to be?
(Raven and Frost have a stare down while Edgar, Weiss and Jolt look on in suspense. The scene cuts to Fukushima sitting back down after Blaze and Axel left due to the grudges Olinda and Raiden have towards him)
Fukushima: Well… that didn’t go as I hope to have.
Raiden: Sorry, Fukushima. I’m so sorry that you have to see her like that and seeing that side of me.
Fukushima: I understand, Raiden. You two have some personal things with him that made both of you hate his guts. But with him gone, this leaves us with a problem.
Raiden: Such as?
Fukushima: Well… it depends if he can lend us a hand, but without him we have no choice but to move on without his help. (he bought up Raiden’s temper) But Raiden, I expect you to control that temper of you.
Raiden: (feels ashamed of himself) Yeah… (bows in apology) I’m so sorry. It won’t happen again.
Fukushima: Don’t keep promises that you can’t keep. Make an effort of controlling that temper, because this is much important than some grudges.
Ruby: What do you mean?
Fukushima: Like I said before, Arvaros is now aware that the weapon can be destroyed. So he might have sent his men to find them and destroy them. However, due to them being purely evil they can’t harm them, but if they brought outside help—
Ren: They can do their job for them, right?
Fukushima: Correct. They would try to get other people to do it for them since they themselves aren’t truly evil. Their just innocent people that would bypass the protection the weapons have against Arvaros and his men. If we secured them, they it would make their job a lot more difficult.
Raiden: But that bring up a good question.
Fukushima: What is it? Speech you mind.
Raiden: Well… Umm… I know that you’re the most wisest person in Remnant, but… the things you said to us regarding Arvaros, regarding that he went on a conquest to rule the planet, makes me feel like you experience it yourself. (Fukushima is surprised) Not only that, you mentioning that he has some followers that would do his bidding, its sound more like it really did happen instead of being a folk tale. With that bakes the question, how do you know any of this? Who are you really?
(Everyone then drove their attention back to Fukushima as he as his eyes close and sharing a smile to the group. In that moment, Fukushima is now aware that Raiden had come to the question that no one else had ever asked him before, of how he knows a lot about the past in which most historians haven’t went that deep in knowledge)
Miller: Well to be honest, I kind of agree with Raiden here. I mean, the things about a powerful tyrant that lead a legion of monsters is sounds like it came from a fairy tale, but then again the way you put it makes us think that you where there. How’s that even possible?
Ruby: Mr. (Fukushima look at her) How do you know all of this?
(Fukushima look deep into her silver eyes for a moment. With a sigh, he tell the group)
Fukushima: Well Falco (looks at him) it seems that I am red handed. (he looks ahead has he stand up from his seat)
Nora: (confused) Red handed?
Fukushima: I really wanted to keep this a secret for a long time, but with the weapons in danger… I think it’s time I came out of retirement.
Raiden: (confused) Huh?
(Everyone looks in confusion to his statement as his attitude has changed)
Fukushima: Before we go any further, allow me to reintroduce myself properly.
(Calmly, Fukushima takes a deep breath as the group looks on. Afterwards, he slams his hands together, making a [inserts text here]. As he concentrates, the scene started to shake as he builds his focus into it. His body began to slowly glow in a bright golden color, slowly blinding the scene. Everyone began to cover their eyes from the brightness coming from Fukushima’s body)
(As the light envelops him the scene fades to white. Before long, the light disappears and fades away. Everyone uncover their guards to look back to him. Upon looking their eyes go wide from what they are seeing. The scene then shifts back to Fukushima as it shows his shoes, slowly rises to show the rest of his appearance. Before long, it reaches his head; showing that he looks younger before the scene pans back to show the full view of his new appearance)
(Everyone’s jaw dropped from the sight of Fukushima’s new appearance. With them speechless, Fukushima re introduces himself to the group)
Fukushima: Hmm… it seems I made an impression or leaved them speechless due to my appearance. Well… let’s fix that with an introduction. My name is Fukushima Noshido, and I’m the 8th Legendary Guardian. (bows before them) A pleasure to meet you all.
(They stood speechless for a moment, before they all shout “What!” to Fukushima, except for Falco)
Jaune: So wait—you mean that you… that you where… that the things you told us was—
Fukushima: Yep, yes and correct. I’m one of the legendary guardians, which I was there when Arvaros lead his legion of Umbra Beast and that everything I told you is all true. Truth be told, I’m the last of my kind to still roam Remnant for over a decade, monitoring everything to ensure peace remains intact.
Ren: But that’s not even possible. It sounds like you lived through our entire history, how can you still be even alive?
Fukushima: Well to answer that question is quite simple really. After our success in sealing Arvaros away, the one known as The Great Wizard bestow us with a gift; each of us gifted with a power to watch over the world in the shadows. In my case, I was gifted with the gift of everlasting life.
Ursa: Wait… you mean—
Nora: (come to a rash conclusion) That your immortal?!
Fukushima: *giggle* Sorry, but not quite. It is close to that, but the Everlasting Life is more toward that I slowly age, making myself seem like I never aged in years, but it’s a slow process.
Miller: Then, how you are able to be young again?
Fukushima: You notice that, did you? Well it’s not because of my gift, but its more my semblance doing its work.
Ruby: You’re… semblance?
Fukushima: Correct. My “Trance” allow me to revert back to my youth, giving me some of my physical abilities back. To put it simply (he jumps, spins and stand on the top of his chair as he balance with one leg) I can fight like my old self once more.
Ursa: Wow! Your semblance sound so cool.
Fukushima: True, but I’m only allowed to stay in this for short amount of time. Case in point, it’s only temporarily.
Raiden: I see, but I never imagine that my own dad was taught by one of the heroes of legend. It makes feel a little bit jealous. (changes the subject) But it doesn’t matter. Right now, we need to focus on stopping both Salem and preventing Arvaros’ return.
Fukushima: Really? Are you sure you want to do this? (jumps off the chair) Originally I wanted to present this appearance to Blaze, making him see the bigger picture. But that has changed. So I ask you this: Are you sure you want to do this? Because if you do… you are committed in stopping them from ruining the peace we guardian’s built.
(Raiden looks back at his friends. One by one they nod to him; agreeing that they will accept this task. As Fukushima looks on, he looks at the back of Raiden and sees a flicker of malice; in which his divine abilities can see this anomaly. However as he blinks and rubs his eyes the malice was gone, so he ignores it)
(After that, Raiden turns back to him and Fukushima tells him)
Fukushima: You have the option to abandon this path and return with your friends and family. There’s nothing that is forcing you to do this. So… what’s your choice?
(Raiden took some thought into this and gave him his answer)
Raiden: If my friends agree to this… the so will I.
Fukushima: Understandable, if that is your choice? (turns away and walks back to his seat) If where going to do this, if where going to stop both Salem and Arvaors men, then we need to do the following: First, we need to secure the weapon. One of them is placed in plain sight while the other is hidden in a place that only the user knows. So we need to cover some ground in locating them. Second, we need to prevent the weapons from being destroyed by outside force sent by Arvaros. They will do whatever it takes to take it by force or from anything that could force our hand.
Miller: Then, what’s the third step?
Fukushima: That… (he jumps and balances in his seat with one leg) is to train you.
Jaune: Umm… that’s the same thing Ozpin said to us.
Fukushima: True, however you need to be extra prepared if you ever face against Arvaros’ men. They aren’t like Salem’s cohorts in any way. They are dangerous and have some set of skills that could overwhelm, deceive or brutally devastate you before you could ever make the first move. I know it from experience, me and my companion had a hard time taking them down at a time we didn’t even know how to beat them the first time we fought them in battle. That’s why I will personally train you in how to beat them, based on your fighting style and with my knowledge on each of them.
Raiden: You’re going to train us?! Fukushima I—
Fukushima: Save the gratitude’s for once we win this. For now… we need to prepare.
Miller: OK. This place has a backyard that we could train there. It also has some equipment that you can use to—
Fukushima: (rubs his chin) No. I think I have somewhere in mind.
(Before long, his time ran out and he reverts back to his old age; losing his balance and falling backwards)
Raiden: (worried) Fukushima, are you ok?!
Fukushima: (offscreen) I’m good. I should have seen that coming.
(As the scene pans back Olinda was seeing her friends from the second floor in her bedroom, still feeling upset about Blaze. For a moment she felt bad for showing her temper in front of her friend, but she shook’s it off and closes the door. The scene cuts to [inset text here] coming out of a room and approaching to Ghira. They talk about the current situation regarding Genji’s latest actions. From across the room, Nazumo, Riley, Sun and Blake look on as they are worried about Genji’s wellbeing. It late changes to a crying Genji as he is sitting on the bend in a fetal position, coping with the realization of him losing control to his anger; almost lead him to cause further harm to his friends)
(It later changes to Edgar as he is in his bed with his father sleeping on the other side in a different bed. Recalling his father telling him that he will pay the ransom to Raven and her bandits for the release of Weiss, he still won’t allow this to happen. So he sneaks out of bed and goes outside at night. He goes behind his father’s tents and tries if he can perform a summon, in which he does, but in a small scale. The two small Arma Gigas kneels before him, ready to serve. Edgar smiles before nodding at them, now knowing on what he must do. The scene cuts to black)
