The Grand Tournament


The Grand Tournament, a tournament in Universe 9 where the greatest fighters converge to fight for honor, glory, revenge, money, thrills, and to gain prestige. Although this great tournament appears once every 5 years winning the grand prize is all worth the risks. However this year’s tournament is unlike any other and it is not just the new faces.
Cloud relaxes at his home about a month after their war against the old régime of the Empire led by the late Soichiro Nagamasa. He is still shaken that the one who orchestrated the codetta was Kazuya his Grandpa’s former student 30 years ago. Even more shocking is that he looks just like Cloud. At the moment he is dreaming deeply having a bad memory from his past during the final weeks of his final year of his high school academy, until he is woken up by Silvia Samson. Cloud wakes up in a cold sweat topless out of his sheets gasping.
“Oh forgive me Cloud-sempai.” Silvia is startled yet blushing too seeing him topless. Cloud freaks out a bit, and then covers up. He then thanks Silvia and apologizes.
“Oh umm I should let you get dressed sempai.” Silvia says still blushing as she leaves his bedroom. The door shuts leaving Cloud in his room alone as he wonders why he had that bad memory. He tries to figure it out but for now he sniffs the air as he smells breakfast. Like a flash he leaps out of bed and quickly gets dressed into casual wear.
Down in the dining room the Johhny & Tom-Tom quickly gorge on the vast breakfast that Yukima and Angelina cooked up. Kana is amazed that Johnny & Tom-Tom are are eating like starving dogs. Kari on the other hand loved Yukima-sensei’s pancakes and Angelina Ne-san’s scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage as she and MoMo were eating them happily. Kana had to admit the food is great. Acacia is delighted it is but is sad that she didn’t help prepare this meal. Kana assures to Acacia that it’s no big deal.
“Glad you love our cooking boys and girls, only wish Cloud was here to enjoy it.” Angelina says as she lets out a pout.
“The big question here is, WHY THE HECK ARE YOU WEARING NOTHING UNDER YOUR APRON?!” Kana freaks out.
“Oh this? Just wanted to show our lovely “red hubby” how much we love him.” Angelina says as she shakes her naked rear. Johnny & Tom-Tom stop for a moment to look at Angelina wearing just an apron covering her front or at least enough to cover her large breasts. Both the boys even TaRo were red faced as their noses start to bleed out. Kana is about explode at her until she remembered her saying “We”. She then wonders if her Sensei Yukima was also, until Yukima walks into the dining room still in her kimono. Kana breathes in relief that her sensei isn’t a complete animal like Angelina. Although Yukima did thought about wearing just an apron as well for his Cloud-sama but decided not to do it.
“For God sakes woman put some clothes on! Have you no shame there are children here!” Kana shouts.
“I see things are lively as usual?” Cloud arrives at this moment, and then notices Angelina wearing only an apron and tries to remain composed. Angelina was so happy to see him and as she takes one step the apron flies off revealing her naked body to everyone and in that second all the males in the room have explosive nosebleeds passing out from bloodloss.
A few minutes later all the males wake up laying on the couches. Yukima lays Cloud’s head to her lap thankful he’s okay. Johnny & Tom-Tom wakes up as both their heads are on Angelina’s lap as both their faces are underneath her large breasts as their eyes were as big as baseballs being surprised by a sight. It was nearly a month since they stopped the takeover of the Empire from Soichiro Nagamasa and his followers. Xiegfried a young 17 year old light dragon Celestal becomes king and made many changes the first all the noblemen gave half their riches to be put charity, which most were too greedy to do so and as their punishment their titles were forcibly stripped from them. There were many changes that happened also but what Rain had to report what they did fighting against the Empire was for the better. Cloud then asks about one more thing.
“I’ve looked into it and... Kazuya quickly and effectively covered his tracks. There was no trace of his activity.” Rain says.
“Now Way?!” Angelina replies.
“How can that be Ne-san?” Yukima asks.
“The evidence were either destroyed beyond recognition or the individuals have disappeared from sight.” Rain says with concerns.
Angelina growls “Dammit! Having “red”’s face isn’t bad enough, he just does a disappearing act?! Shit!” Angelina gets pissed while the boys still laying their heads under her bust are passed out yet again. Then a ring come at the front door. Then Angelina gets up to answer the door. She opens the door to the mailman who is shocked to see Angelina still wearing just an apron. He stutters trying to make words, but she gets that reastion with everyone as she grabs the letters from him and bids him good day. The mail man regains his senses only to say to himself “I’m making this my main route.”
“Mail call! Huh? Well 2 letters for Cloud & Yuki. Wonder what are they?” Angelina wonders.
“Are you out of your mind peaking out the door like that?!” Kana shouts at her freaking out.
“What?! Oh, almost forgot I’m still in this outfit.” Angelina says pretending she didn’t know, yet it was not fooling anyone. Then Cloud asks what are the letters about. Angelina didn’t know but happily gives it to both Cloud & Yukima. Cloud looks at it is sealed with a stamp mark. Cloud wonders, and then opens it up. There is a letter inside as Cloud reads
“Dear Cloud Delgado, you are cordially invited to yet again participated in this years Grand Tournament as being one of the 3 finalists from the previous you have one of 3 choices to be a special judge, relinquish your title from the previous year not participating, or to participate in the tournament to seek a greater reward. This is a special announcement for you and the other 2 finalists that the Grand Tournament shall commence in one months time from today and all are welcome to participate of all ages, gender, and tribes this year even those who are Enchanted Edge wielders can participate.”
“Huh, The Grand Tournament. It’s that time huh?” Cloud says.
“Grand Tournament sounds awesome, I’m in Bro!” Johnny says all excited with a clenched fist.
“Me Too Brother! I’ll show’em how tough I am!” Tom-Tom says doing the same as Johnny. Kana points out to them that they still have nosebleeds. The boys wipe their nose bleeds clean still excited. Rain is amazed that it is already time for the Grand tournament. Kana asks why she said that way. Cloud explains that the Grand Tournament is held once every 5 years. Every one is surprised of such time scale. It then hit Kana that Cloud took part in it 5 years ago and came to the conclusion that her sensei Yukima also took part in it too. Yukima modestly admits that she did. The boys must assume their brother Cloud must won 1rst place. Acacia must agree with that assumption, however Cloud admits being in 3rd. This shocks the boys and Acacia in astonishment as there were 2 people better than him. Then everyone looks at Yukima wonder what place to she take. Yukima bites her lower lip. “I was given 1rst place by my opponent.” They were shocked to hear that, except for Cloud. They all want to know why.
“It’s because the 2nd place winner Raven tried to kill me.” Cloud answers them. Everyone is shocked to hear that happened.
“Maestro, I implore you it is far too dangerous to take participation in the tournament! What if that fiend returns to take your life?!” Acacia says urging her husband. Cloud couldn’t refuse as he knows he’ll be there. Rain explains that like any sanctioned tournament there are set rules. One such rule is no killing other competitors, however she agrees with Acacia that he should not enter. Cloud couldn’t run away from this as he wants to enter to settle this. She asks her brother if it means betting his life with no reward. Cloud with a confident look in eyes and smile. “Hell Yeah!” Cloud says with a devil may care attitude.
Both Johnny & Tom-Tom are amazed how cool and bad-ass he looks and so they too want to enter the Grand Tournament with their brother. Kana doesn’t know how special this tournament is to take part in it. Rain remembers that the semi-finalist get a cash prize of 200 million, and then instantly Kana happily wants in on the tournament. Cloud had a feeling since Rain so conveniently remembered THAT detail. Kari wanted to enter since everyone else is. Rain will enter to keep an out for everyone here. Angelina rubs the back of her head figured she’ll be sitting this out since there’s enough helping Cloud. Acacia agrees trusting his sister-in-law for protecting them. Yukima greatly appreciates Rain and the others helping Cloud-sama that she decides to forfeit her 1rst place rank by not participate in the tournament. She smiles that she doesn’t it knowing it was given to her, and so bows to them and wants to watch them. Cloud then hugs her close to him and assures that he will reclaim her pride, and Yukima was so touched by his words she cries on his shoulder.
One month had passed since receiving the letter invitation to the Grand Tournament and they arrived that late afternoon as the sun was setting. There was a huge crowd of people and many different stands of vendors. There were food vendors as well as stands that sold merchandise of all kinds. Tom-Tom & Kari were amazed by all the stands that they ran to each with wide-eyed excitement. Kana isn’t so surprised since they are little kids after all. Rain had forgotten that each time the Grand Tournament arrives it always comes like a huge celebration. Cloud agrees it always starts like since the last time, but then remembers.
“Come to think of it, the last time it came was 5 years ago and...”
“I graduated from the academy about 2 years prior, that is alright. I am glad I can get to compete this year dear little brother.” Rain smiles seeing this celebration now. Cloud is happy too for no, and then states he’s also glad Storm is still on vacation in Xhun Wan with Mei-Lin and their son. Rain agrees if he were to compete it would be a great big disaster area. Yukima, Angelina, and Acacia with definitely agree with a grimus face. Angelina wonders when this tournament gonna start as some folks were staring at them. Acacia puts her guard up wondering what fierce glares they have grasping at her sword’s hilt. Cloud then reminds them the glares are directed at him cause he surrounded by them. It was true most of the glares were from men that sees him with not one but a group of pretty women. Angelina was by far the most alluring as she was wearing an open bra top. Cloud sighs as he is yet again a target for jealous men envying his luck for having a group of beautiful women at his side. Rain thinks of them as being so petty for easily jealous of such. Cloud replies back stating she so nonchalant about it. Yukima assures Cloud that she doesn’t mean to be while being a bit worried that she is doing it on purpose. Angelina didn’t care what the “lil boys” think as she stretches showing off her “assets” to everyone. Cloud freaks out telling Angelina to stop flaunting. At that moment as the sun finally sets bursts of confetti explodes forth as the tournament is about to begin. The crowd of people head towards a large podium as the officials are about to welcome everyone. Then the head of the tournament committee steps to the podium, and then Cloud & Yukima quickly cover their ears. Johnny ask why they got their ears covered allofasudden. Rain also wonders but then sees who is about to speak and so covers her ears as well telling them to do so quickly.
“Yeah, it’ll save you from how he’ll start his speech off.” Cloud says with great worry in his look. Then the committee chairman starts with an explosively powerful shockwave of a roar as it blows the crowd with such force. Everyone was so surprised by how powerful his roar was that some folks were blow a few feet away from where they stood a moment ago.
“LISTEN UP CAUSE I’LL ONLY SAY THIS ONCE! THERE ARE 3 RULES TO THIS TOURNAMENT THAT ARE IRONCLAD YOU DON’T BREAK! IF ANYONE DOES I’LL HAVE YOUR HYDES!” says an aggressively enthusiastic elderly man with a lion mane hair style. Kana wonders who is this crazy loudmouth of an old man trying to make everyone deaf with his crazy loud roar. Johnny was in a bit of a daze trying not to pass out from trying to block out that crazy loud roar that “lion gramps”.
Rain replies “That is the Grand master of PyroJutsu arts, Raion Shikiyo as well an elder Lycas of the Lycas Tribe.” “As well as the current Chairman of the Grand Tournament committee.” Cloud adds in to who this elderly man while they both cover their ears. Angelina was a bit upset that an old had to shout like a maniac to get his point. Acacia agrees calling him “truly Arrogant”. Raion clears his throat, and then speaks normally hence forth.
“The rules are #1 anyone who kills their opponent will be forever banned, #2 no use of any and all magic whatsoever, #3 no head gear is permitted whatsoever. If anyone has a problem with this then line up so I’ll prove my point directly.” Raion says being deadly serious.
“Please Raion you don’t have to say it like that.” Says a young blonde female Celestal. Cloud & Rain are surprised to see her here too. Yukima asks them if they know her. Rain answers that she is lady Chiyo Venus the Grandmaster to the AeroJutsu arts a Celestal Crane. Johnny is super surprised that a young girl is master, but Cloud explains she only looks young. Rain explains she is over 100 years old, which all of them are shocked she barely looks over 20.
