Wanted to do another song drawing. And after getting a few options started on one classical piece which put Two Steps from Hell's Blackheart stuck in my head so drew based on that one. And the image that eventually resolved was someone preparing to do a lunging strike with sword. And then because of the song title decided to make it more almost piratey and make the sword black as well. And once again I'm drawing leg armor but not armor on the spot that probably needs it the most. But I am protecting more. Eventually I'll get to someone with a lot more practical armor for the entire body.


Overall this was about 2 hours for the sketch and then hour and a half for the colors and background. Not too happy with how the head turned out to be honest. Ah well.
