Liepard was known to serve Ghetsis of Team Plasma, along with her favorite mate,
Zoroark, who is also a Dark type and is the Illusion Fox Pokemorph. After Team Plasma
had been defeated, Liepard and Zoroark had moved to Kalos, serving Team Flare under
Lysandre and Xerosic. Zoroark and Liepard had been planning to take Team Flare under
their command to seek out and defeat anyone who stands against them. When Team
Flare's HQ had been destroyed along with the Ultimate Weapon, Zoroark and Liepard
had departed from Kalos to seek seclusion in the Galar region, where they resided in
Spikemuth, admired by the group known as Team Yell and its leader, Piers and Obstagoon.

When Zoroark and Liepard found out about the Dynamax Phenomenon, they silently stole
its secrets and infiltrated Rose Tower, holding Chairman Rose and Oleana of Macro Cosmos
hostage, broadcasting their intentions of creating an army of their Dynamaxed Pokemorphs
using its stolen secrets as a challenge to all the chosen Pokemorphs of the Galar region.
