With Gawain having joined the navy to expand his horizons and get some real world experience to understand his Lady Cammy a bit better, he is now working with Aileen, Cammy's bff and might-as-well-be-sister, more and more. The two discovered they have some real chemistry as they worked together, and what started as a simple friendship bloomed into more as they caught feelings. These two might have gotten off to a rocky start with their first meeting being Aileen holding him hostage to get to Cammy (she was brainwashed, it's fine,) but they learned that they work well together. Aileen needed someone soft and dedicated, but who would still ground and defend her. And Gawain needed someone to take care of, but who could still allow his newly gained confidence and skill to bloom and flourish.

“Gawain, bring me my tea?”
“Of course, lady Killian.”
