A westbound freight travels on the Milwaukee's main line through Eastern Washington. Soon, it will reach the large bridges above Pine Creek, the Great Northern line to Steptoe, and Washington State Route 271 near Rosalia. After that, it will continue its journey to Tacoma WA.
After doing a piece in nothing but red and orange leaves, I thought about a little greenery to complete the Autumn series. Mainly as the prequel to the rest. Anyway, I picked the Milwaukee after thinking about seeing the Rosalia Bridge in Eastern WA and made this piece based on what I've learned about the railroad in the area. It was a challenge to draw an F unit from this view, but it works well in the end.

Actually, I positioned the smoke out of those small exhaust stacks. It's hard to tell since some of the smoke does touch the tops of the fans around them.
Also, some of the pics and videos I've seen of F units (mainly current media) shows a little black exhaust coming out of them.
