This is so very lovely! I think this piece shows the very best of your painting skills, with really fabulous lighting, colors, and very realistic looking fire! What a sweet scene with a wonderful iconic composition, Takaza is so very lucky to have this as their holiday card. =)

If I may ask and you have time to answer, what brushes and settings do you usually use on painter? I'm trying to figure out the program now myself :P

I use the oil pastels on a very low opacity setting (13% and fiddle from there)

The lighting in this came out great. I especially love how you conveyed the illumination from the fire on the trees and snow. Spot on!

Thanks! Amber helped me out a lot on that, I admit, I was going in a wrong direction at first but since she just did a campfire pic herself she was able to help me on that.
