This plush is made of custom printed minky and mochi minky. They lay at about 10 inches from the tip of the nose to the back tips of the legs. The face and feathering on the hooves is machine appliqued and embroidered. The gradients are custom printed-- all details on the base body and hair are custom printed. The bow and hair accessories are not removable.
What a sweetheart!
Love Letter was an interesting, but quick project. There was quite a bit of floated embroidery to get the hooves appliqued; I’m SUPER grateful that the embroidery and applique came out almost flawless. :) I’d love to do a whole write up for how I create and center the designs after printing, but maybe another time! ^u ^
Base body was easy, making the mane was more of a challenge. Blah blah blah-- hard to translate 2D-- 3D. But wow, I do like how this translated. Originally the hair was supposed the be less pieces, but the struggle came when combining the pigtails to the back. I attempted a seamless transition but it didn’t work out too great. ^^; But, finaly results were close enough to what I wanted with a few extra seams. :) The little fly away in the front was filled with some intense turning it out; goodness there was a few times that I thought I tore through it.
Aaaand... i think that’s it!
Keeping it short again to have Love Letter up so I can be caught up on things! ^u ^
