A neat thing, at least for me, is that as much as it's "desert-nomad/African/Arabian" inspired, I also had a flash of a vibe from Johannes Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring" portrait when I first saw it, even though the dangling bit doesn't look to be an earring.
Anyways, lovely work yet again. :)

they are! Plus you never have to think about posing or at least not the part about how to make people not look like they're not floating on the ground (uggggghhhhh)
She is very handsome regardless. I was thinking about her attentive-but-not-intensely-so-look, and then realized how much of her face is really symmetrical, head-on, but how much of her clothing is wildly asymmetrical. Oooh, that really ticks my "nice contrast" neurons
