This drawing is based on the 1947 animated film made by Disney "Fun and Fancy Free".In the movie there is an animated segment called "Bongo".This segment is based on an original story by Sinclair Lewis. This is the story of a circus bear cub, who ran away from the circus to the wild and the adventures there that followed.
I love Bongo and his many adventures in the woods!There he finds love in a cute little bear named Lulubelle!

yeah I have that on vhs too , kind of a mixed up message for bongo to hit the girl you love after learning all those years not to hit girls ain't it , but he almost lost his love over a damn cultural misunderstanding , couldn't they just go elope together instead of him having to like prove his love infront of her "family" christ all mighty that would've been like her world/culture&society that claimed to love her driving him away & making her miserable thank god he saw that , understood it & RECOGNIZED those in her community & the way off it
His circus life wasn't that bad either! His owner's did everything for him! Gave him a bath,feed him,and dressed him up! He didn't have to move a muscle untill it was showtime! I could get used to that! The only thing else I would want,is a girlbear!
What's so funny about the movie,it mirrors life! He was like a "rich kid" forced to live in the "bad" side of a city! "Been there,done that!"

They probally have a bunch of cubs by now! Maybe Bongo got sick of living a real bear's life in the forest and ran back to the cicus!
Bongo: I can't live like this anymore! Lulubelle,grab the cubs! We're going back to the circus!
Lulubelle: The circus? I don't wanna leave the forest and my family,this is the only place I ever known!
Bongo: You chicks are crazy! Ya'll don't know a good thing,even if it's right there in your face!
If forgot the tell you,Bongo is gonna have to get his unicycle stretched at a custom body shop! He's a family bear now!

Aaaaahh yes I remember this li'l from Disney.... The story is really cute... I remember that after I ran out from the circus he fall in love for a li'l female (Lulubelle) but he has to fiht another big Bear who also want her... but Bongo use his brain an win Lulubelle... Héhé the perfect love story.... Really nice picture li'l bro... Beautiful
