"Dad comes from a family of traditional merchants. He is a founding member of a large mineral export company in Grom. He and the family acquired a certain power and social status. And they expected me to marry someone on their level. A respectable and rich renzar like them. But instead, I fell in love with a worker and fighter. A simple renzar that captivated me. Dad always despised Regt for not being one of them. He criticized him for not having formal studies, or being a graduate of some Grom institute. He never saw that Regt was a good-hearted and noble renzar. And everything got worse when our son died. Dad blamed Regt and everything fell apart for us. The happiness we dreamed of was fading. Then we moved here to Chakona and tried to start over. Dad hasn't spoken to me since then... And now, he comes to visit because he wants to meet Hajo"

"Sorah, maybe it's good for your father to meet his grandson" Doren said as hy held the little renzar on hys back.

"Maybe that will allow you two to get closer"
"I don't know Doren. I don't hold a grudge against dad. But still hurts me that he walked away from me, and also that he doesn't love my husband. But despite everything, he is still my father" Said the female sighing. Doren noticed that Sorah had tears in her eyes. Hy walked over to her and hugged her.

"I don't know what Regt will say when he finds out that my father, he is in Chakona" She complained.
