A life of luxury can lead to a stagnant body; without a need to constantly hunt, fight, or fly to survive, it's not uncommon for dragons or... any creature really, to grow weaker and fatter. Rakant keeps himself from falling into the trap of luxury by regularly hunting, doing patrols of the territory, and training. Rakant has always been a swift dragon, even amongst the Serva he was a remarkable scout for the speed and agility the obsidian showcased. Rakant keeps this trait of his at it's peak by challenging his abilities frequently by flying low, between mountains, testing his ability to wave dexterously between obstacle, or how quickly he can descend and ascend mid-flight. While Rakant's build will never allow him to match a dragon such as his mate's strength, Rakant is sure to still strengthen his forelegs and back legs by climbing mountain surfaces or even assisting with labor tasks impossible for the bipeds in Muir'Beinn.
All the effort rarely comes into play, but Rakant enjoys a healthy body daily regardless. When the time comes to fight however... his enemies can only behold as they're ripped apart in a blurr of strength and speed.
