I enjoyed uploading this last year --> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3179758/ and I felt like repeating this summary again for 2010, be it for my own sake alone.

2010 certainly didn't feel to me like I progressed much or even created anything worth mentioning, but now in retrospect, when I pic out certain pieces and line them up like this, I can look back at this year with less despair and sadness and I encourage everyone to do the same, if possible. I am sure you will find that you did more than you thought and that more pieces turned out really neat, even when it didn't feel like it back then.

Part of being active creatively demands you to take a step back once in a while and pat yourself on the shoulder, too. Allow yourself to acknowledge what you managed this year, be proud about the progress you made, be it little or invisible to you, for the time being. Self-loathing won't help your art improve. Love what you do and it will show.
