Molly the Fix's former friends were first mentioned in her first story, Eeyore and Molly the Fix, and given more elaboration in A Surprise Visit. I decided to draw them up to properly introduce them.
They are a band of animals brought together out of a shared desire to belong, one fostered by their leader, Viv the Cheet. They engaged in harmless pranks and practical jokes around their neighborhood, never anything serious or criminal. That is, until Viv pushed the envelope and got Molly mixed up in a case of attempted theft, abandoning her when she came to her for help, and forcing her to run away and go into hiding.
Viv brought her friends together out of a sense of creating a family, even encouraging a young Molly to join up and take part in their activities. She puts on an air of care and devotion, but in reality, Viv only cares about herself and what others can do for her. Cunning and manipulative, once she feels she's gotten what she can out of someone, or if she sees them as a threat to her agenda, she cuts all ties with them. After being called out by the others over what she did to Molly, she has since left, and joined up with another group, one more relevant to her own interests: the Red Barons...
Radar the Bat is the youngest of the group. As he's a real bat and not a stuffed one, he's able to fly, which allows him to view what's going on from way up high. He wears glasses to compensate for his poor eyesight, but he has an excellent sense of hearing. Radar is normally chipper, loud, and energetic, but he does get sleepy during the day. When he doesn't feel like flying, he'll either camp out on one of his friends' heads or in his favorite backpack.
Pete the Skunk is the de facto leader of the group with Viv gone. He lacks a real skunk's Stink Power, being stuffed, which his friends consider a great relief, and something he admits is for the best. Pete's best attribute is his power of speech, being quite eloquent and charismatic, using quite a number of big words that often leave his friends confused by their meaning. He's a very persuasive talker, however, and even if not everyone can understand what he says, he can still inspire them just by the power of his voice. He's something of a big brother to Radar, always looking out for and trying to guide him, and he's very attached to Selena.
Selena the Raccoon is an old friend of Viv's, and the first to join her group when she started gathering animals together. She is, as Pete puts it, a Creature of Adorable Plumpness, being quite round and curvy. This makes it hard for her to navigate tight spaces as well as Pete or Viv can. She never lets it bother her, however, as she's incredibly kind and patient. She dotes on her friends in the exact way a mother or older sister would. In spite of her old friendship with Viv, she was completely in the dark about the Cheet's true nature, and feels guilty that she couldn't see it sooner.
