Yeah, when you try to walk like a human, without being solid, your upper body tends to swing, making you look ridiculous.
That's why I prefer crawling. :l
By the way, yeah, I do like traditional animation. I started learning by myself with the use of Richard Williams excellent book, and I'd really like to learn more about it. It's a looot of practice, I can see a lot of flaws in that one, but well, next one would be better, I guess.

Oh actually being in Animation student makes this much more interesting to me. And surprising enough, this is better than a lot of students' in my class' walk cycle from last year. The legs should stay on the ground longer, and really stretch. Even as long as keeping the foot on the ground on the stride position. It would add a lot of stretch and gooey stickiness.
