He is an ig-kin priest who dreams of becoming the ruler of powerful desert creatures known as the sandswimmers, and for no better reason than to enslave all of the lizard races of the desert. For now, Hess is a manipulative second-in-command of one of the ig-kin tribes. However, that doesn't mean many of his fellow tribesmen like him.
