Leon set out into the old-growth jungle and every step was an obstacle. With his trusty machete in hand, he cuts a path through the underbrush. Inadvertently arousing a hidden inhabitant. Silently maneuvering the intercept the dog as he chops away at the vines.
Before he could react, he's struck, the fangs delivering heir payload. He legged it back the way he came. Heart pounding and adrenaline coursing. The snake descends from its perch, setting out after the dogs panicked scent. Not at a pace to catch up, but one to give its venom time to take affect.
