(1994) Marker ink on paper (Photocopy.) I took someone's sketchbook home from ConFurence to finish this self portrait, more of capturing a dreamlike state of awareness rather than my likeness. Overtired, on my feet, enduring a long wait for the next train that will take me closer towards home. Staring deeply into the dreary, intricate grime and glare of the aging steel and concrete subway.
