Been a while since I revisited this character :) Actually did the original sketch for this comic close to a year ago, but I didn't end up doing an inked version until just recently. Turns out that, even when you're more or less used to being a lycanthrope, it still brings its own particular set of awkward social considerations with it...

I love the phone to accommodate the different anatomy. A wolfgirl/catgirl could probably make use of a "human" phone with their better hearing, but I imagine it'd be mildly annoying. "Furgonomics" is one of my favorite things, though recently I've also heard it (Well, the enjoyment of it, anyway) called "Aptophilia".
Okay, "furgonomics" made me laugh - these are definitely the kinds of things that I find fascinating when thinking about the practical implications of a transformation ;) I was a little surprised to find out that cordless candlestick phones aren't already an extant product, given the recent-ish retro-resurgence of '20s-'30s chic; looks like someone's done one as a proof-of-concept, but that's it. I suppose in her universe there's probably a bit more demand for such a thing ;)
My current fixation has been Yinglets, and the nightmare it would be to live in a world made for humans when you're three feet tall with a long tail that rises up to head level, your arms are too long to be able to reach your chest with your hands, and you have a pair of hands for feet. And the shelltooth makes it impossible to say "th" sounds so you have to "say zhings like zhis". ^_^
But at least I could use a phone, between the large ears and the small size.
