Immediately after closing the door, Erzebet’s body began to move and run before she realized what she was doing. Making it to the stairs, she quickly made her way down the steps, caution be damned with the current situation she was in. Fortunately for her, the stairs didn’t break under her as she ran down each step, as she made it back to the First Floor. Not slowing down, she reached her hand out to the front door, opening it as she was about to leave the building. But as Erzebet was about to leave the building, she could hear a loud crash come from the second floor, which told her that the Heartless slime had broken down the door and was now beginning to chase her.
‘Crap! Crap! Crap!’
With running being the only option for Erzebet, that’s all she could do to try and get away from the Heartless slime that was now hot on her tail. As she ran deeper and deeper into the jungle, Erzebet was running blind at where she was even going, with her only hope being that she could get away and hide from the Monster. But as she took a quick glance behind her, she could see the Heartless slime, hot on her tail ready to grab her. Making a quick sprint, the slime was only able to catch part of Erzebet’s black coat, tearing it in the process.
‘Damn. And here I thought the Heartless were only in Daybreak. And yet here I am running for my life from one in this massive unknown jungle!’
As Erzebet thought about this, she also couldn’t believe how much has changed for her over the years. From being a Queen of her own kingdom, to being teleported to a new World with complete strangers, then becoming second in command of a party, and finally surviving the end of a literal World. Now she is here, running for her life, with nobody knowing where she was, and nobody to help her. But the main question remained. Would Erzebet ever see her friends again?
The Pendulum swings forward once again.
Time, moves forward once more, back to its normal momentum.
Now that the story of one of the members of Galactic Star has been told, we now go back to the present. Back to where the mysteries of what had happened and brought everyone to Shred’s World trying to be uncovered. Along with the motives of those who are working in the shadows.
