They're one of my species! A different one from the other biomechs but with some elements consistent. The main thing is they're more uniform and animal-like as opposed to being a straight up mess.

As for this drawing design in particular.. I was going for a darker/more striking portrait. I'm willing to bet I was looking at something godmachine around then. Real ace with designs, them.
