There are many a good bat characters out there from books, games and films/TV. I drew some that came to mind here. Mostly Pokémon but they are the best bats (next to icebat who might as well be my spirit animal). There are many more I wish I had more time. Minecraft bat is taking the award for every bat enemy you see in games.
...I should have drawn a boombat from the stranger's wrath games now I think about it. god-darn it.

I also wanted to do a redesign of Shade silvering from the Silverwing series, my favourite books as a pre-teen. But oh man, the animated designs? Yikes. Shade is meant to be a runty silver haired bat. In the carton it's blond hired buff vampire-werewolf. I was not taken in.
