Good timing for Umbra to post red panda adopts.
I've long had an idea for a bear-like species in my universe and I had recently gotten an idea to add a smaller species that evolved from red pandas that share the same homeworld. I do have plans to eventually do species sheets for these species and a few non-anthro alien species that are in my head. I just need to find the time and energy to get to them. >_<

Hmm. Perhaps you could take from the Onderon/Dxun dynamic. A planet and moon so close that they both have a biosphere. And a few time a year even exchange some atmosphere.
Not sure which level of gravity would favour your red pandas. Arboreal humanoids, with possible food struggles if they are close to identical to our own red pandas.
Or perhaps because these beings can digest cellulose, thus why they can be so big in the first place.
