I had an itch to make a dad-type character, so meet my newest Genshin OC ~ Konfor, a fallen-god of Succor
He is strong but lax, with aged and dumb humor & he treats everyone in that patronizing but gentle way that prompts heavy blushing from certain individuals <w<;


- Background -

Konfor was always a benevolent god, who came to the aid of those in distress.
However, when he came to the aid of the Desert King's people, the king didn't look kindly on Konfor's intervention. Konfor was less mighty than most gods, and it was only a matter of time before the Desert King subdued him. As was the custom practice and punishment for those who transgressed the desert king, the king's priests sealed away Konfor's spirit in the form of a scarab, mystically compelling him to guard one of the sacred temples.

And centuries later, when the temples had fallen, the little scarab konfor still stood guard over barren sand. It was here that Alfyn stumbled upon him in his journeys. Centuries of time had weakened the priest's bindings, the old magic no longer as strong and fresh as it once was. Applying a bit of elemental power was enough to ..not quite 'break', but loosen the spell's effects, allowing Konfor to take his own form for stretches of time. In the time lost subdued within his scarab form, the god's divine powers dwindled, and now he has become a simple spirit of old.
