Please see the attached target scan profile, cleaned up recently by the House of Cards. The Emergency Government has approved a hunting order for Mastermind, now our highest priority target in tandem with Interloper Lead Kata. All remaining strategic and tactical resource assets are being devoted to your mission, including two planned diversionary attacks to draw ZRU ground and air assets from the Dragon's Gulch canyon complex. It is the understanding from remaining NOS assets in the region that the ZRU has taken over the remains of the South Rim base and begun assembling a mechanized, possibly airborne, invasion force. NOS is tasked with eliminating this threat as soon as possible, the strike distance of this facility is within the 150km exclusion zone established around the Gravitas Basin Colony boundary.
It has taken House of Cards the last 6 months to identify the precise structure of the ZRU's military organization. The Interloper Team was presumed to be in total tactical and strategic command, but intercepted communications and some re-captured Coalition Navy personnel from the 7th Battalion have permitted us insight into the underlying structure. The ZRU is presently held together by three figureheads, Mastermind being the chief strategist organizing the bulk of the inter-hive cohesion of what we know now to be three distinct civilizations: The Enlightenment, The Bulwark, and The Conquest. The ZRU's mission statement overall is the coordination of these three entities in armed military resistance against Skanton Holdings, and by extension, the entire Gravitas Colony. Failure here, it is assumed, will likely lead to the ZRU subjugating everyone of us who are stranded on the planet. We do not have the highest hopes that the Interloper Team will offer much resistance if and when the ZRU turns on them.
You are to deploy your remaining team members immediately. Separate NOS forces in the diversionary attack hope to eliminate the other two figureheads. The strike will be undertaken approximately 50km North-West of the Dragon's Gulch canyon complex, where we understand all three figureheads are en-route at this moment. It appears Mastermind is taking an airborne transport, while the other two are proceeding ahead on foot via previously mapped underground complexes. Bring Mastermind in alive, if possible, or terminate with extreme prejudice if not. This will probably win us the war, and save our asses from many hard questions when the Coalition Navy reestablishes contact with this planet.

They're not really planned in the core canon, it's the classical problem of "how do you fit this into a grounded science fiction". Since often their behavior, lifespan, size scale, and body plan preclude them from most technologically sophisticated man-sized settings. Typically this means we get to 'scale down' when it comes to post-canon kinds of stuff where I hope to run a semi-contiguous periodical RP. Roll up as a 20ft tall, 35ft long, 90ft wingspan dragon, and you'll basically be stuck planetside sitting around in a lot hoping the 12 month long development window for a transport will elapse before something interesting happens lol
