At long last, the lovely White Star monarch gets her official ref sheet! I've never made one of these before, but it was a fun project and toss between legitimate facts and fictitious parts of the design I've made for her. The color palette was the hardest to tack down - never really thought of it, well, officially before, haha. We all know White Star Buff is a bit of a mystery.

Declared a "marvel" in her youth, Olympic is beloved by those who sail her.
Lives with the guilt she let her sisters die alone, suffers from nightmares her whole life.
Sharp teeth, based on marine species, example whales & sharks
Don't call her "Oly," she doesn't like it!

Earns her famous nickname (Old Reliable) in WWI
fun fact: Because she has been associated with me/my designs for so long, she has some of my personal qualities! One of these is a less-bold variation of the myth-filled sanpaku eyes.

They are definitely very rare! I first came up with my version's in 2013, knew of one other person who did something slightly similar (yet was not their main focus), and one other creator I inspired. But unfortunately, they are not at all popular compared to cars and plane characters.

Please know how much this means to me, and you being so caring and considerate - always <3 yes, yes... about the eyes, I actually never knew the term for what that trait was called, then found a video talking about it and though, "heck, that would be interesting to add." Especially since I have it too. I love having a deeper story behind all the little details, if I can <3
